Her friends and colleagues frequently remark on both her nearly unflappable good mood and her unusual tolerance for alcohol. She shares an apartment with Mai Yamamura, her best friend since high school and most loyal confidant. When Rika accidentally married Pepito D'bo -- one of the most dangerous criminals in the galaxy -- it came as something of a shock to everyone, owing largely to the fact that most Earthlings are not particularly well-versed in the intricacies of K'baban mating rituals. An almost endless chain of bizarre events has been occurring ever since.
