Mai is a shy girl, usually keeping to herself and rarely venturing out of doors. Despite an aversion to confrontation, she can easily be roused on matters of morals and politics. Her stance on carefully calculated, well-timed payback is usually enough to keep the people who know her on their good behavior. She's noticeably more relaxed when in the company of her closest friend, Rika, which thankfully is most of the time. Mai is currently "married" to Pepito as well, after a failed attempt to save Rika from the shackles of holy K'baban union (but not really married: lying about being Rika's domestic partner kept her from becoming the main course). She prefers a female masseuse.
